Marcia Washburn and her husband homeschooled their five sons in rural Colorado for 19 years. Marcia is known for her practical, down-to-earth writing and live presentations, offering strategies, support, and encouragement on family-related topics such as parenting, homeschooling, music, and home caregiving. She is the author of over a dozen books, and her articles have appeared in many nationally-recognized magazines, as well. She has enjoyed speaking to homeschoolers across the country, as well as in Ecuador and Russia.
