Parenting Formulas, Fads, and the Gospel Foundation of Discipleship: What God Has Taught Us Through the Last 50 Years of Homeschooling
Covered in This Session:
- It is the sin of pride and selfishness that brought Christ to the cross. Recognizing this in yourself and with your child gives you a chance to talk about everyone’s need for Christ.
- We need to shift from a model/paradigm of control when our children are young to a paradigm of influence when they are older.
- A season in a child’s life is not their whole story. There will be messy chapters, and in those times we need to stand vigilant in prayer and trust in Him.
- God doesn’t hold us accountable for the outcome, He holds us accountable for the process and our obedience to Him.
